Kyosho Ultima RB7.5

Kyosho's 1/10 scale Ultima EP buggy boasts a rich racing history, including multiple world championship titles, and continues to offer a diverse lineup ranging from entry-level to high-end models. Now, its top-tier RB7 has evolved into the upgraded RB7.5, incorporating numerous refinements to enhance performance.
The new model adopts big-bore oil shocks equipped with X-ring seals for smoother operation and leak prevention. The shock stays have been upgraded to lightweight yet highly durable carbon fiber, offering greater strength for intense racing conditions. A newly added front shock stay guard helps prevent damage during rollovers. At the rear, aluminum bulkheads and hub carriers enhance rigidity while broadening setup options. The body is based on the RB7, but a spoiler on the rear of the cabin combines with an improved rear wing and the addition of a front wing to optimize aerodynamic performance.
By integrating newly developed components and standardizing several high-performance upgrades, the RB7.5 remains true to its original strengths while evolving into a machine capable of competing at the highest level. Whether on traditional dirt tracks or modern high-grip carpet surfaces, this latest Ultima model is built to meet the demands of competitive drivers.

●Laydown-type gearbox features a spur gear cover. Gearbox type can be changed by purchasing parts separately.
●Equipped with a ball differential for dirt track use and a slipper clutch to protect the gears from excessive load.
●Differential balls are made from high-precision, durable tungsten.
●The kit is primarily designed for dirt track use but can be easily modified for high-grip carpet surfaces with minimal adjustments.
●Compatible with existing optional parts for setting modifications and upgrades.

This rear-wheel-drive off-road buggy features a midship layout, positioning the motor just ahead of the rear wheels. The high-rigidity duralumin main chassis has undergone slight modifications, while the proven low-profile gearbox and other key components have been carried over from the Ultima RB7.

A new body based on the superb aerodynamics of the RB7, features design modifications to the rear cabin to further enhance efficiency. The rear wing has also been redesigned for increased strength, generating powerful and stable downforce.

The front and rear shock stays have been upgraded from the RB7's plastic material to 4mm thick carbon fiber, significantly enhancing strength and rigidity. The new design provides better protection against damage during rollovers, and a resin protector comes standard to safeguard both carpet and artificial grass surfaces.

New aluminum oil shocks with 13mm pistons enhance stability at high speeds and over uneven surfaces while effectively absorbing landing impacts. The springs have also been upgraded for improved performance.

The aluminum steering crank and plate ensure smooth operation and high rigidity, enhancing steering response. Additionally, the upper bulkhead shape has been modified to prevent interference with the servo horn.

The completely redesigned aluminum rear hub carriers allow for changes in upper rod length by adjusting spacer thickness, increasing the capacity for ball bearings. The height of the suspension pins can be adjusted by replacing the resin bushings.

The new rear bulkhead features a separate upper rod mounting point. The aluminum upper rod mount enhances suspension rigidity and allows for tuning of the suspension geometry by adjusting the rod mounting height.

The LCG battery mount allows forward-back weight distribution adjustments and features a tool-free, one-touch system for quick battery installation and removal.

The previously optional front wing is now included as standard. It helps adjust aerial posture during jumps and serves as an effective tuning part, also altering cornering characteristics.

The increased rigidity from the addition of the center bulk support results in improved traction when exiting corners.
