The DPR Kestrel Glider / Motor Glider (ARTF) is a lightweight, traditional soarer designed to make flying simple and satisfying from day one. Ideal for grassroots training, it can be flown as a two- or three-channel glider from the slope, or configured as a motor glider for flat-field thermal hunting. This DPR Kestrel (part number DPRRC031) combines docile handling with quality construction for relaxed, confidence-building flights.
With an 85% pre-finished balsa and ply airframe, exemplary covering and a damage-limiting banded wing, the Kestrel is quick to complete and forgiving in the air. A high-lift thermal wing section helps it latch onto lift with ease, while the included parts for the electric option let you choose between slope soaring serenity and powered climb-outs on calm days.
