I have just bought 2 sets for a second hand Tamiya Hornet and Grasshopper that came with old Tamiya 27 mhz radio gear. Honestly they work out of the box with no problems. Both auto bind, and easy to set trim and motor power output. I have recently bought a similar set from another supplier but these are as equally good and slightly cheaper.
