Machined internal gears, metal bearing plates, and a durable machined aluminum motorplate ensure lasting performance.
Power is transferred through ISD10 driveshafts, featuring machined CV-style joints for smooth and efficient operation. The F10 Portal Axles optimize clearance with a compact design while integrating machined hypoid gears, chromoly spools, and brass axle tube inserts for added strength and weight distribution.

The VFD Twin Transmission builds upon the proven VFD platform, integrating advanced drivetrain control with a focus on performance, durability, and scale realism. This system features Selectable Overdrive Shifting and a 3-position dig unit, providing real-time tuning for any terrain.
With on-the-fly overdrive shifting, drivers can toggle between 6.5% (standard) and 46% (high overdrive), dramatically changing the driving dynamics. The overdrive neutral position also allows for 2WD mode, disengaging the front output when needed. The integrated 3-position dig locks the rear axle for tight turns or full control on steep inclines, borrowing from Vanquish Products' proven Hurtz dig design for reliable, smooth operation.
Internally, the VFD Twin is built for durability with hardened chromoly shafts, machined internal gears, and bearing plates reinforcing critical load points. A slipper eliminator ensures maximum power transfer, while the molded transmission housing maintains a scale appearance. The extended skid plate provides added protection for the motor in rough terrain.

These axles feature a high-clearance portal configuration, reducing the size of the differential housing while maximizing ground clearance around the C-hubs and knuckles. This design improves obstacle clearance, minimizes hang-ups, and keeps your rig performing in technical terrain.
The rigid one-piece molded housings incorporate an integrated truss that strengthens the axle structure by tying both ends together. The high-pinion hypoid gear setup improves gear engagement, reduces driveline stress, and provides smoother power delivery.
For increased traction and stability, both front and rear axles include weighted brass tube inserts, while the front axle also features heavy alloy knuckle weights. This strategic weight placement lowers the center of gravity, improving climbing performance and reducing the risk of rollovers. The 49° of steering angle provides exceptional maneuverability, giving you tighter turning capability in challenging conditions.
Additional scale details include a removable third member, one-piece molded bearing retainers, and adjustable lower shock mounting positions for fine-tuning suspension geometry. The 6mm output shafts with M5 wheel nuts ensure durability and compatibility with a wide range of wheel setups.
