The XRay XR358207 XB8 Rear Shock Absorbers Zero Rebound Complete Set (2) is engineered to fine‑tune handling by allowing reduced rebound compared with standard shocks. Using a ribbed shock membrane installed on the shock body, a vented cap and an adjusting screw, the design lets excess oil escape and enables precise control of trapped air to achieve true zero rebound. The result is decreased responsiveness and improved bump absorption on rough tracks.
Oversized 18.5mm big‑bore, titanium‑colour coated bodies deliver consistent damping and durability. Externally threaded bodies with an adjustable collar make spring preload changes quick and easy. A one‑piece aluminium shock cap with vent hole works with the specially formulated rubber membrane to maintain stable damping from start to finish, even under extreme running. The lower assembly uses two superior silicone O‑rings with composite shims to minimise leakage and friction while keeping dirt out, and the lower aluminium cap speeds up service. Thick 3.5mm high‑tensile steel shafts are precisely machined and ground for ultra‑smooth movement. A complete set of pistons and lower rubber boots is included; springs are not included.

The special design of the shock body and upper cap allows the installation of a ribbed shock membrane on the top of the shock body instead of traditional installation into the upper cap. The installation of the ribbed membrane on the shock body allows excess oil to leak out, and along with a shock cap vent hole and adjusting screw allows the adjustment of the amount of air (rebound) until the desired zero rebound is achieved.
The oversized big-bore shocks feature 18.5mm O.D. shock bodies, externally threaded with an adjustable collar for quick & easy spring preload adjustment. The shock bodies are coated in a titanium color, and feature a 1-piece alu shock cap with vent hole.
The specially-formulated rubber material of the shock membrane ensures equal damping characteristics from the beginning of the race to the end, even after extreme operation.
The lower shock assembly ensures that the shock rod will move very freely inside the shock body, while minimizing oil leakage and keeping dirt out. Two shock O-rings – manufactured from a superior silicone compound to allow ultra-free movement of the shock rod while still maintaining a tight seal – are installed in the lower part of the shock body and are secured with composite shims. The entire lower shock assembly is secured with the lower aluminum shock cap which makes assembly/disassembly very quick and easy.
Thick, robust shock shafts handle all abusive racing conditions and big jumps. The 3.5mm thick shock shafts are precisely machined from special high-tensile steel, and afterwards are ground to a super-smooth finish to ensure smooth movement.
