Description
The HoBao Hyper Cage Truggy - Black (HBCT-C28B) brings the rugged Hyper SS platform together with a full aluminium roll cage for strength and protection. Factory-assembled as a nitro RTR, it teams HoBao’s Hyper 28 MacStar engine with a polished tuned pipe and a 2.4GHz 2-channel radio system for confident control and punchy performance.
Lightened over previous generations, the Cage Truggy benefits from quicker acceleration and more responsive handling. Long-throw suspension arms, Gen2 17mm big-bore threaded shocks and anti-roll bars help it stay composed on rough tracks, while optimised steering geometry improves precision and stability. Braking is handled by twin fibre discs, and durability is enhanced with a steel spur gear and wrap-around front bumper.
A generous 150cc fuel tank supports longer stints between stops (a legal 125cc option is available). The compact sealed radio box and one-piece radio tray keep electronics protected and neatly packaged, and the high downforce wing, dish wheels and racing tyres round out a competition-ready stance.
Note: HoBao have made a rolling change; the chassis and other anodised parts are now Stealth Grey.

Unleash the beast that is the Hyper SS Cage Truggy. HoBao continue to develop their SS platform with the Cage Truggy nitro RTR featuring a full aluminium roll cage over the SS truggy chassis.
The Cage Truggy features the latest suspension design for improved traction and stability. Reduced weight over its predecessor provides the SST with improved acceleration for better speed and jumping.
Each long throw suspension arm is handled by anti-roll bars and the latest generation 17mm big bore oil filled shock absorbers that feature threaded bodies for fine spring tension tuning. Optimized steering block and hub carrier provide better steering and rough track handling.
The installed radio consists of HoBao 2.4ghz 2-channel radio to help truly unleash the performance of the Hyper Cage Truggy. Power is provided by HoBao’s own Hyper 28 MacStar engine and polished tuned pipe fueled up by the oversized 150cc fuel tank for longer run times (legal 125cc option available)
Available with a stealth grey aluminium chassis and components.
