GBPOS Engines Glow Plugs for Nitro RC Engines
Get reliable starts and consistent tune from our Glow Plugs range for nitro RC engines. Choose from trusted brands including Force, OS Engines, Fastrax, HPI and REDS, with both standard and turbo types in hot, medium and cold heat ranges.
Choose the right plug:
- Standard vs Turbo: match the plug to your engine’s head button. Standard uses a flat washer; turbo seats on a taper and is not interchangeable.
- Heat range: hot plugs aid cold weather running, lower nitro fuel and easy idle; medium suits most setups (e.g. OS No.8 is a popular all‑rounder); cold plugs suit high nitro, hotter ambient temps and high‑rev racing.
When to replace: if starting is difficult, idle hunts, the element looks distorted, or the engine needs excess glow time, it’s time for a fresh plug. Keeping a couple of spares in your pit box saves race days and bash sessions alike.
We carry large stocks for quick dispatch and offer next day delivery options across the UK. Need advice? Our friendly, knowledgeable team is happy to help you pick the ideal glow plug for your model.
