The BAT-SAFE is a double-walled insulated steel box with a flame arrestor. Any battery within the specifications will not be a fire hazard if charged or stored inside the BAT-SAFE.
In case of a fire, the smoke and soot is also filtered by the flame arrestor.

I just had a thought. What type connections does it have to charge the battery?
I have XT90 on my batteries.

These do not come with any connectors and all needs need to be purchased separately. SCH-BSXL-PW are the extended balance leads and most people solder the power leads to suit.

I am wondering about the use of Bat-Safe in relation to electric golf trolleys. All golf trolleys are kept together in a storage shed and they are charged there as well. So I was thinkin g that when a golfer finishes he transfers his battery to a Bat -Safe box for charging.

Yes that would work i would just keep an eye on dimensions as they do quite a few sizes of these.
