The FTX Outback Centaur (FTX5475) is a 1:10 scale 4x4 RTR trail crawler designed for confident control on rough tracks and technical terrain. A semi-scale bodyshell finished with a matt black roof and arches over a gloss main section sets the tone, complemented by a moulded grille, light buckets, mirrors, door handles and wipers, plus a detailed interior for added realism.
Inner wheel well fenders help keep debris at bay, while CNC aluminium, oil-filled adjustable shocks smooth out uneven ground. Up front, a stainless steel bumper skid plate protects the chassis and supports a CNC aluminium winch mount. The factory-installed 25kg 360° winch servo features a cable that can be extended up to 90cm for recovery duties. Multi-function front and rear LED lights connect via a magnetic plug for fast body removal, working hand-in-hand with the Centaur’s hidden clipless body mounts.
Under the hood, the Centaur combines trail capability with intuitive control. A servo-operated two-speed gearbox lets you switch between high and low drive, and a servo-operated DIG system engages or disengages a locked rear axle at the press of a transmitter button. A waterproof 25kg metal-geared steering servo with a metal arm, 35T 550 brushed motor and Hobbywing WP-1060 60A speed control deliver dependable power and steering authority. Supplied with a 6-channel 2.4GHz radio system, Voltz 2000mAh 7.2V NiMH battery and Etronix USB charger, the Centaur arrives 99% ready-to-run.

Tackle the trails with the Centaur, the latest all-terrain ready-to-run vehicle from FTX, blending the latest design features and finish.
The highly detailed semi-scale bodyshell is finish with a two-way paint of matt black roof and wheel arches, paired with a gloss main section.
Moulded scale grill, light buckets, mirrors, handles and wipers complete the exterior along with a moulded interior.
Moulded inner fenders fill each wheel well, while oil filled, adjustable aluminium shock absorbers provide exceptional rough track handling.
The scale front bumper accommodates a winch cable and hook protected by a stamped aluminium lower skid plate. The cable can be extended up to 90cm via a 25kg MG 360° winch servo.
Multi-function front and rear LED lights are factory installed, connecting seamlessly to the vehicle via a magnetic connector for hassle free body removal along with the Centaur’s hidden clipless mounts.
Under the hood, the Centaur boasts several features that seasoned trail fans will like such as a servo operated two-speed gearbox and DIG system. Flip between high and low drive gears and engage/disengage the locked rear axle function with the DIG function all with the press of a TX button.
With a waterproof 25kg metal geared steering servo with metal arm, 35T 550 brushed motor and Hobbywing WP-1060 Speed control all installed as standard the Centaur is ready to take your trail adventure to the next level.
