- High vibration petrol (gas) engines with large control surfaces and large throws can strain gears; metal-geared servos are recommended for such applications, even under 12 lb.
- Do not use thread locker on Karbonite geared servos as it may cause the output shaft to fail.

Note: Be aware that high vibration gas (not glow) engines combined with large contol surfaces and large thows (3D models) can put undue strain on the gears. Metal geared servos are recommended for these applications even if under 12lbs.
