The Hobbywing Xerun AXE V1.1 ESC Combo with 1800Kv FOC Motor (HW38020252) brings Field-Oriented Control to rock crawling for exceptional linearity, high torque and ultra-quiet operation. Designed as a matched ESC and motor system, it delivers precise low-speed control and confident traction on technical terrain.
A chip-type magnetic encoder synchronises rotor position with the ESC for pure, accurate signals, while the 4‑pole, 12‑magnet motor featuring Hobbywing's "staggered pole" design minimises cogging and torque ripple. Intelligent torque output and speed closed-loop control help maintain consistent RPM under load. The adjustable drag brake with tunable rate offers up to 200% braking force for smooth, reliable hill-hold without jerky stops.
Built for real-world conditions, the AXE system features an IP67 waterproof and dust-proof design. The plug-and-screw sensor harness with a silicone O‑ring provides a secure, water-resistant connection, and the advanced electronic switch is engineered to resist water, dust and shocks. Polarity protection helps prevent accidental reverse-power incidents, while multiple safeguards cover low-voltage cutoff, thermal protection, fail-safe (throttle signal loss), motor lock-up and overcurrent events. Built-in Bluetooth lets you read data and update ESC firmware via the HW LINK app on your smartphone.
Note: The Xerun AXE series is a closed system; the AXE ESC has suggested compatibility only with Xerun AXE brushless motors.
