The truck it self with the pre painted body looks fantastic. It's an absolute beast to drive. Unfortunately it doesn't have reverse and the steering servo is a bit weak. It also have a very basic battery set up so upgrading to a rechargeable battery with a battery monitor and external charging lead is an absolute must. Getting access to the battery is a bit fiddly to say the least! It comes with one shock on each corner ( unlike the old savages that has two shock per corner) so doesn't seem to handle big jumps as well. it has what looks like some big bore shocks fitted now. I've not Striped any diffs yet but upgrades are available should that happen. The engine fitted still seems strong and makes the truck a beast to drive once tunned correctly. Unfortunately once the bed in process was completed I did have an issue with it changing into second gear. After reading the in-depth instructions I was able to confirm I was trying to adjust the correct screw for the second gear adjustment. I ended up striping the gear box upper section down with is now a lot easier compared to the old savages to again access to.( no need to completely strip down one half of the TVP chassis) after a visual inspection of the gear and the clutch holder, I found an excessive amount of thread lock had been used and ended up inside the main mechanism. The truck has only just been run in at this point so would of been like it from factory. I ended up changing the shaft, clutch holder and retaining screw and once the gearbox had been reassemble, I was able to finally get second gear and get it shifting correctly. It runs a treat but just be mindful about a possibility of second gear issue. Over all it's a beast and look amazing just sitting on the shelf, it's even better when it fired up and running around and your sending it over jumps! Just be mindful that not all people will appreciate the sights, sounds and the smell of this beast!
