Description
J Perkins JP Carrier Grey Lightweight Tissue Covering Paper, 50 x 76 cm, is a pack of five sheets identified by part number 5525201. This lightweight tissue paper is intended for covering traditionally built flying models and is supplied in grey for model aircraft projects.
Suggested compatibility includes vintage radio-controlled and free-flight designs, scale models, Peanut scale aircraft and larger rubber-powered types. The tissue can be applied to complex airframes, then wet-shrunk and doped to create a taut covering surface. Its lightweight format is suited to model construction where the covering forms the outer skin of the airframe.
The grey colour provides a traditional appearance for heritage aviation models, replicas and other flying designs. Each sheet measures 50 x 76 cm, giving builders a defined area of covering paper for their project. The pack contains five sheets, allowing the supplied material to be used across suitable model aircraft builds or retained for matching repairs and additional sections.
