Description
J Perkins JP Classic White Lightweight Tissue Covering Paper, 50 x 76 cm, (5 Sheets), part number 5525199, is a pack of five white tissue sheets for covering traditionally built flying models. The paper is intended for lightweight aircraft projects, including vintage radio-controlled and free-flight designs, scale models, Peanut scale models and larger rubber-powered types.
The tissue can be applied to a model airframe, then wet-shrunk and doped to create a taut covering surface. Its lightweight format is suited to model aircraft where the covering forms the outer skin of the structure. The white colour provides a plain covering finish for traditional builds and can be used where a white aircraft surface is required.
Suggested Applications
Suggested compatibility includes traditionally built flying models across vintage R/C, free-flight, scale, Peanut scale and larger rubber-powered categories. The 50 x 76 cm sheet size gives builders a defined area of covering paper for planning and preparing model components. Application methods described for this tissue include fitting it to the structure, wet-shrinking it and using dope as part of the covering process.
