Description
J Perkins JP Fighter Blue Lightweight Tissue Covering Paper, 50 x 76 cm, part number 5525207, is a pack of five lightweight tissue sheets for covering traditionally built flying models.
Each sheet measures 50 x 76 cm and is coloured Fighter Blue, providing a ready-coloured covering material for a range of traditional aircraft builds. The tissue is intended for suggested use with vintage radio-controlled models, free-flight designs, Peanut scale aircraft and larger rubber-powered models. It can also be used for scale-style flying models where a traditional tissue finish is required.
This covering paper is made for application to lightweight model airframes and can be wet-shrunk and doped to create a taut surface. Its handling characteristics make it suitable for model builders working on different airframe shapes, including more involved designs that require careful fitting around the structure. The five-sheet pack provides multiple pieces of the same Fighter Blue covering paper for model-making projects and repairs.
