Description
J Perkins JP Stealth Black Lightweight Tissue Covering Paper, 50x76cm, (5 Sheets), part number 5525217, is a pack of five lightweight black tissue sheets for covering traditionally built flying models. Each sheet measures 50 x 76 cm, providing covering material for a range of model aircraft projects.
The suggested compatibility includes vintage radio-controlled aircraft, free-flight designs, Peanut scale models and larger rubber-powered types. The black colour is suited to model schemes requiring a dark covering finish, while the lightweight tissue helps maintain the intended character of traditionally built airframes.
This tissue covering paper can be applied to model structures, then wet-shrunk and doped to create a taut surface. Its resilient construction is intended to withstand normal handling and the demands associated with flying models, while remaining suitable for detailed airframes and scale projects. The paper is supplied as five separate sheets, allowing it to be used across a single model or several smaller builds.
Features
The covering is designed for builders working on vintage, scale and free-flight aircraft, including Peanut and rubber-powered designs. It is straightforward to apply and can be used with wet-shrinking and doping techniques. The Stealth Black colour provides a traditional dark finish for model aircraft where this appearance is required.
