Kyosho Legendary Series Fantom EP 4WD Ext CRC-II

Relive a landmark era of on-road racing with the Kyosho Legendary Series Fantom EP 4WD Ext CRC-II (part K.30637B). This modernised re-release honours the 1985 Japan Championship-winning Ext while retaining the iconic ladder chain plus front one-way 4WD and distinctive 3P front suspension that made the original so agile.

Kyosho updates the platform for today’s electronics and tracks: progressive 3P springs deliver 2.2mm of controlled stroke, a reinforced front plate boosts torsional precision, and a machined aluminium rear oil damper enhances rear grip and pitching control. A direct servo saver and adjustable servo mount sharpen steering feel, while a height-adjustable rear axle lets you fine-tune ride height and chain tension. Rubber-sponge tyres improve grip and reduce wear, and lightweight hardware helps preserve the Ext’s famed low mass.

An ESC-ready layout replaces the rotary speed controller of the past, with dedicated mounting for the Le Mans 240S ESC and support for a brushless motor/ESC combination. The faithfully reproduced CRC-II body provides balanced aero; decals are included and the driver figure requires painting. Manufacturer-quoted performance with a Le Mans 480T BL setup is approximately 55 km/h and around 23 minutes of run time.
