Hello, will this withstand high currents ? I need it to connect my 14.8V 5200mAh 60C battery to my Traxxas Maxx (without overheating and melting on me)

Hmm, depends on your definition of "high"...!

For best results if you are using high current draw you really want to do away with adapters and change the connector on either your battery or ESC to reduce the use of connectors.
