This mid-size format sits between shorty (97mm) and full-length (139mm) packs, extending a shorty by 16mm yet remaining 26mm shorter than a standard length battery. That sizing unlocks valuable setup options in both 1/8 Electric Offroad and 1/10 TC Modified while maintaining the highest possible capacity for race runs.

The NOSRAM MODIFIED batteries are visuable identifiable with the labeling "MODIFIED“.
To release this battery we've spared no expense or effort to increase the often race-deciding capacity in 1/8 Electric Offroad and 1/10 TC Modified with additional setup options.
So how did we do it?
To maximise capacity while adjusting the length of the battery to 113mm, the only option was to develop a new cell construction and invest in a completely new case.
This MID-SIZE extends the battery by 16mm over the Shorty battery length of 97mm and makes it 26mm shorter than the standard battery length of 139mm.
Due to these specifications, this MID-SIZE battery offers three advantages:
1. In 1/8 Electric Offroad our 113mm MID-SIZE battery completely fills up the battery compartment in the popular Team Associated RC8B4.1e buggy and offers increased capacity over the normal shorty batteries.
2. In 1/8 Electric Offroad buggies with a full length battery compartment (139mm) the MID-SIZE battery (113mm) can be moved forwards and backwards to adjust the weight distribution while providing sufficient capacity.
3. In 1/10 TC Modified the weight distribution can be adjusted front to rear by 26mm. This can be vital to get the weight balance and the cornering perfect.
