The Overlander Tornado Thumper V3 4250/06 800KV brushless outrunner (OL-3217) delivers dependable power with a refined, lightweight design. Manufactured to Overlander’s demanding standards using state-of-the-art CNC machining, the V3 features an exclusive black finish that aids heat dissipation. Premium materials are used throughout, including high-grade Neodym magnets and high-temperature winding wire, for performance and reliability typically associated with far more expensive motors.
Providing up to 980W of power, this 42mm diameter Thumper V3 supports 3–7S LiPo or 10–20S NiMH setups and is recommended to be paired with a 60A ESC. A 5mm shaft and pre-fitted 4mm gold connectors simplify installation, while the 210g weight (excluding accessory kit) helps keep overall model weight in check. Overlander notes that these motors form a strong performance package when used in conjunction with their XP2 speed controllers.
