Part number HC-58721 delivers a versatile 2WD chassis offering three wheelbase options and the choice of front- or rear-wheel drive. For this Fiat body, the MB-01 uses the long wheelbase to capture the stance and proportions of the original.

Designed for ease of assembly and maintenance, the MB-01 builds on the heritage of Tamiya’s M-chassis line with modular components, robust suspension, and thoughtful gearing. It’s a flexible base for street or club use, with suggested compatibility for many popular Tamiya hop-ups.

MB-01 Chassis Highlights

• Dimensions: Length 322mm, width 163mm. Wheelbase options: 209mm (S) / 224mm (M) / 239mm (L). The Fiat Abarth uses the long wheelbase (239mm).
• Multi-purpose 2WD chassis with six total setups: three wheelbases and either front- or rear-wheel drive.
• Switch FWD/RWD by reversing final gear and steering linkage orientation; choose low or high motor position when running RWD.
• Unitised motor mount and final gear sections for easy assembly and effective maintenance.
• 4-wheel double wishbone suspension with friction dampers.
• While 2WD, multi-link suspension is compatible with tyres featuring the same compound and rear tyre toe-in as 4WD models.
• Gear ratio: 5.83:1 when using the kit-standard 29T pinion gear.
