Description
The Tamiya Lamborghini Countach 5000S (TT-02) R/C assembly kit, part number HC-47527, recreates the 1982 version of Lamborghini’s distinctive Countach in 1/10 scale. The model represents the 5000S, which used a 5-litre engine and was produced from 1982 to 1985. Its body is moulded from 1.0 mm polycarbonate, with separate white plastic parts for the side mirrors and rear wing. Plated light cases are also included, with separately sold LED lighting able to be fitted if required.
Underneath the body, the model uses Tamiya’s shaft-driven TT-02 4WD chassis. This drivetrain is paired with a torque-tuned motor and ESC, while the chassis layout is designed to provide adaptability and stability for radio-controlled driving. Five-hole dish wheels are fitted with tread-pattern racing radial tyres, completing the Countach-inspired appearance.
The kit includes stickers and masking stickers to assist with painting the polycarbonate body. The instruction manual also features background information about the full-size car on its cover, adding context during assembly. This is a model assembly kit, so construction, painting and radio installation are required before it can be operated.

Tamiya is proud to announce the release of the Lamborghini Countach 5000S paired with our popular TT02 chassis. The Lamborghini Countach prototype was announced in 1971, and made huge waves with its futuristic form and innovative design. 1974 saw the debut of the Countach LP400 which was the first production Countach, and by 1982 it had evolved into the 5000S which employed a 5-litre engine. Around 320 5000S cars were produced up to 1985. The Countach is not only a super sports car, but also a symbol of Lamborghini, even in the modern day.
