It keeps the signature ribbed front tyres and paddle rear tyres for authentic traction and style, paired with a detailed hard plastic body for an unmistakable silhouette.

Under the shell, Tamiya equips the Sand Scorcher (HC-58452) with quality upgrades for smooth running and durability. Full ball bearings reduce friction throughout the drivetrain, a 540 motor and ESC are included, and the reinforced 2mm FRP main frame with a duraluminum plate adds strength without sacrificing flexibility. Newly designed die-cast suspension parts and redesigned oil dampers contribute to composed handling, while the transparent mechanisms case with camlocks keeps your radio gear protected. True to the original, the kit even arrives in classic blister pack style packaging.
