What is the most toothed pinion gear I can (should) add to a a 70t spur gear? Just got a Tamiya TT02 chassis with Torque Tuned motor and want more speed.

I would go for a 25t pinion with the stock spur on the Torque Tuned motor. If you wanted more top end speed then you could use the Speed Gear Set here: HC-54500

This will come with a 68t spur gear and you can also bolt on the 64t spur here: HC-51356

The maximum you can go with the standard 0.6 mod gears is that 64t spur, and a 28t pinion. Always keep a close eye on your motor temperatures when gearing up.
