Tamiya Wild Willy 2

The Tamiya Wild Willy 2 (part number HC-58242) revives an iconic 1980s favourite with a modern twist. Built on the WR-02 chassis with larger tyres and an all-new wheelie bar, it retains the original’s playful, animated wheelie behaviour while adding improved rough‑terrain capability. This 1/10 scale model pairs nostalgic styling with dependable Tamiya engineering for lively, stunt-ready performance.

An ABS monocoque chassis, 4-wheel independent suspension and plastic coil-over friction dampers provide a robust foundation. Drive is via a 2WD gearbox with an 18.3:1 gear ratio and bevel gear differential, while chrome wheels with V-lug pattern tyres deliver the classic Wild Willy look. The styrene body is moulded in a military green colour. An electric type 540 motor and 3 step F&R mechanical speed controller are included; a 2-channel surface radio and 7.2V battery are required (both not included).
