Step up to the Tamiya TT-02 Type-S Chassis Kit (HC-58600), a refined evolution of the proven TT-02 platform. This shaft-driven 4WD chassis introduces newly designed components and wide-ranging setup adjustability, making it a strong choice for club racing and track-day tuning. Turnbuckle upper arms and steering linkages allow quick camber and front toe adjustments, while optimised damper angles and rebound strokes deliver confident road holding.
The Type-S specification equips the TT-02 with reversible suspension arms and rigid metal suspension mounts, including 3° of rear toe-in for stability. Newly designed 3.0mm FRP front and rear damper stays work with CVA oil shocks for consistent, predictable handling. Power loss is minimised via full ball bearings and durable metal cup joints, drive shafts and wheel axles, with die-cast metal hex hubs adding strength where it counts.

This sporty evolution of the TT-02 chassis sees the efficient shaft-driven 4WD unit given newly-designed parts and gives users the ability to make setup adjustments across the board, making it great for racing! It is equipped with long reversible suspension arms, and rigid metal suspension mounts. The rear is set up with 3°of toe-in. CVA oil dampers are attached to specially-designed 3.0mm thick FRP damper stays, with optimum damper angle and rebound stroke providing excellent road holding. Turnbuckle upper arms and steering linkage allow fuss-free adjustment of camber and front toe. Power loss is minimized by the use of full ball bearings and metal cup joints and drive shafts.

Brought this as a combo package. Goes together nicely, some other parts such as bodies and oils will be required to assemble. A basic kit that is ok for a flat surface such as a car park but probably not the sort of thing to use if you wish to race 1/10th. Look at a more dedicated platform. A nice way to spend some evenings running it in any spare time you have. Absolutely loads of upgrades available though.
