Celebrate an icon of late-1990s rallying with the Tamiya Lancer Evo V TT-02 (HC-58713). This 1:10 R/C assembly kit recreates the road-going Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution V body on Tamiya’s proven TT-02 4WD chassis with cardan drive, combining authentic looks with dependable on-road performance.
The 1.0mm-thick transparent polycarbonate shell captures the Evo V’s muscular lines, from protruding bumpers to bonnet louvres and the distinctive rear wing. Separate ABS parts add detail for the mirrors and rear wing, while the included sticker sheet and window masks make finishing straightforward. Silver 12-spoke wheels are paired with treaded radial tyres for a classic touring car stance.
Underneath, the TT-02 platform offers simple construction and easy upkeep, with independent 4-arm suspension and low-friction dampers included. Dimensions are 445mm (L) x 185mm (W) x 145mm (H) with a 257mm wheelbase, providing a stable base for on-road driving. The glorious Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution V is now available in RC version, in 1:10 scale, paired with the tried-and-tested TT-02 4WD chassis with cardan drive. The 5th generation Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution took part in rallies in 1998 and won both the Constructors’ and Drivers’ Championships. This car featured powerful bodywork with protruding bumpers, louvres and air intakes on the bonnet and rear wing.
This kit reproduces the Lancer Evo V in the road-going version.
