Based on the road-going Audi R8 and built to GT3 regulations, the 2008 R8 LMS featured a 5.2-litre V10 mounted midship in a lightweight aluminium space frame. With body sections revised for racing and a switch from quattro to rear-wheel drive, the LMS platform was supplied to teams worldwide from 2009 and went on to record numerous successes. Tamiya’s body faithfully captures the lines and stance of this iconic machine.
