A separately sold Multi-Function Control (MFC) unit is required to operate the lights through transmitter commands. With an MFC unit connected, the turn signals can be used in standard operation or as hazard lamps, while the brake lights respond to braking commands. The light connector links the set to the MFC unit, and power is supplied by the model battery pack.
