Reviews
Got a few of these and they perform flawlessly in my racing buggies. Although missing features like turbo and boost it does have timing adjustment that make quite a bit of difference. A great cost effective, smooth and so far reliable esc.
Great ESC, just needs soldering in

Questions & Answers
This esc will do down to a 4.5t motor for touring cars ( so tarmac only ) I would say looking at the motor that you have and running on grass yes it should work but you would need to keep the gearing very conservative.
Yes, that should work nicely with any brushless motor - including Tamiya.
These would want to be soldered in
You'd be better with a sensorless ESC for that motor - eg HW30107100
It may well work, but this is sensored.
For sensorless, I'd look at say HW30102601
No, these are listed as "
-
- Voltage Range - 5-8.4v"
No sorry = 8.4v max input on these
Depending on your motor, try HW30102601
Yes no reason why not
Yes this should work
No sorry a brushless ESC wouldn't work.
Something like HW30120201 would be ideal but it has a 12T limit. 9T is very low...
This is a 120A limit
Features, programmability, stability - the XERUN is a better spec ESC hence why it's more expensive.
No, these have solder tabs for you to solder your own cables
Yes, you could disconnect the fan if you want (unsure why though?)
No specific limit is given for such a scenario - you'd have to be very careful about keeping an eye on temperatures to avoid damage.
Sure, the LED program card is HW86020020
Yes, can run with either.
On 2S, recommended max is 4.5T in touring cars, 5.5T in lightweight offroad.
On 3S, 10.5T in touring or 13.5 off road.
