Tough "Savage style" TVP Chassis

The chassis for the Savage XS Flux is very similar to the nitro- and FLUX-powered Savage that everyone in RC knows and loves: the legendary and original TVP Twin Vertical Plate chassis! The TVP design in the Savage XS FLUX is formed from two extra-thick molded chassis pieces, connected by the the diff cases at either end and the transmission case and motor plates in the center. These load-bearing central chassis structures help provide extreme chassis stiffness and toughness!

LiPo Battery Power

The Savage XS FLUX was designed from its initial conception to use powerful 2S or 3S LiPo packs. A 2S (7.4V) pack will give the best balance of handling and performance and is what we suggest for most owners - but if you want to go for top speed runs you'll want to fit a 3S pack! 11.1 volts will let you do standing backflips and speeds up to 65 miles per hour (with the optional 34-tooth pinion gear) without breaking a sweat!

All-metal Transmission Gears

The Savage XS FLUX features super tough, all-metal transmission gears to make sure that the power from its brushless motor is completely uninterrupted . From the pinion and spur gear, through the multi-gear transmission to the front and rear differentials, metal driveshafts and axles, the Savage XS FLUX is perfectly designed to deliver power directly into the ground. The entire drivetrain spins on highly efficient ball bearings for extra-long runtimes and mega-fast top speeds!

Ultra Tough Over-sized Suspension

With its over-sized suspension design, the Savage XS FLUX is super-tough and capable of handling even the wildest bashing action! Extra-thick arms and shock towers, plus solid upper links combined with all-steel hardware make the Savage XS chassis the ultimate mini-monster bashing machine! Sturdy yet flexible wide bumpers at both ends are fitted with skid plates to give the truck extra durability no matter what scrapes you get into!

3S LiPo-Ready HPI FLUX Power

The Flux MMH-4000 motor delivers massive power - plenty of juice for instant wheelies and standing backflips! Option pinion gears are available to fine-tune the speed and torque delivery! The brushless design assures maximum performance with nearly no maintenance required. With the capacity to handle 2S and 3S LiPo power, the Flux EMH-3S electronic speed control can take anything you can possibly throw at it and keep coming back for more! The EMH-3S features an integrated cooling fan to keep it cool in tough conditions. The Flux EMH-3S ESC is also reversible, so you can back out of jams with ease.
