Using a Traxxas charger in advanced mode

Using a Traxxas charger in advanced mode ( non smart mode )
Advanced Mode is for users that have an in-depth knowledge of battery chemistry (types) and battery charging techniques. Advanced mode also allows you to adjust the charge rate (current) for Traxxas iD batteries. If you do not understand the differences in various battery types, then do not use Advanced Mode. Use the Traxxas Battery iD system instead for safe, easy, and fast charging
1, Connect a non ID battery to the charger, For this we are using a lipo battery with XT90 connector
Use the correct adapter to get the battery to plug into the charger
Remove the traxxas logo plastic cover to uncover the balance ports.
Plug the battery in using the main lead and the balance lead

When a battery is connected for charging that does not have Traxxas iD, the red charge rate/progress LEDs will sweep in a scanning motion. Advanced Mode must be used for manual battery type and charge rate selection. The Start button will not light blue when there is no Traxxas iD present.
2, Entre advanced mode
Simultaneously press and hold the Start button and the Charge Rate Select button for 2 seconds.

You will then use the button to select the charge rate, battery type,

You can then press and hold the start button to start the battery charging.

WARNING: DO NOT attempt to charge LiPo batteries with missing or damaged balance connectors. The EZ-Peak Plus will default to LiPo mode charging when a balance plug connection is detected. If you fail to plug in the balance connector, or attempt to charge a LiPo battery with a damaged or missing balance connector, you create the risk of accidentally selecting to charge a LiPo battery in NiMH mode resulting in fire and possible injury to yourself and others. Always make sure to select the battery type that matches the connected battery. If you do not understand what this warning means, do not attempt to use Advanced Mode on the EZ-Peak Plus.
