HOBBYWING COMBO MAX10 ESC 3652SL 3300KV MOTOR

Built with high-quality components and coupled with cutting-edge firmware, the MAX10 is able to deliver unmatched power and performance for even the most extreme racing applications, but it is also responsive enough to protect itself from damage due to overloading due to physical abuse, overuse or even human error.

The MAX10 features an electronic switch with a lifespan of over 50000 on/off cycles, housed in a completely waterproof, dust-proof and shock-resistant design.

The waterproof and dust-proof design allows the MAX10 to be used in all weather conditions without any issue of damage caused to the ESC from water or dust.

The built-in switch mode BEC with a maximum output of 6A and voltage adjustable between 6V and 7.4V allows the use of various high voltage servos.

When pairing the MAX10 with a Hobbywing matching motor (i.e. EzRun 3652/3660 G2 motor), the temperature sensor cable on the ESC will monitor the motor temperature and protect the motor from irreversible damage due to overheating in real time.

Some of these have started coming through with XT60 connectors pre-fitted, but if you require different connectors - eg say deans, then those would be worth ordering.

Answered by: Ben @ Wheelspin Models

Hi, The ESC in this kit is waterproof.... which is fantastic. Will the motor also work ok in our muddy / wet UK climate? We're moving over from a very reliable XL-5 / Titan in our Rustler and want something that will endure the same all-weather abuse. Regards Eddie
Asked by Edward Cain on 18th March 2021

Yes, the motors are fine with the odd bit of water. Just bear in mind they are a mechanical item with moving parts and bearings - so will require maintainance and oiling if used in wet/muddy conditions

Asked by Nigel Hickman on 27th January 2023

Yes this would work speed would depend on gearing and crawlers have quite slow gearing in the diffs so i would expect the maxium speed to be around 35 mph on 3s lipo with that combo.

Answered by: Steve @ Wheelspin Models

What gear ratio would you recommend for this motor and for a buggy so that it won't make the a 3s/4s battery get hot?
Asked by Leon on 4th February 2023

The maximum this can use is 3s lipo, with gear ratios it would depend what car, what surface, and what you are doing with the car ( speed runs or general bashing ) so its hard to give you an answer on that.
