Would this be ok for the ftx bugsta? Thanks
Sarah Isaac / 28th September 2025

It would be a bit weak and only 2s lipo and would get hot with that KV i would go for this HW38030207

Steve @ Wheelspin Models
What connector are on the esc as I'm in need of this setup with deans (t plug) connectors
Brandon Haigh / 25th May 2025

That ESC has a deans connector on it.

Rich @ Wheelspin Models
Hi is the a 3.2 shaft size I would like to put this in a grasshopper.
Karl Daw / 29th December 2022

Yes this is a standard 3.2mm shaft.

Si @ Wheelspin Models
Hi, would this be suitable for changing a brushed FTX Zorro to brushless operation?
John Yallop / 18th May 2022

Its will work but we would highly recommend this system which has more torque and can run on 2s or 3s lipo ,the one you linked will only run on 2s lipo .

Steve W @ Wheelspin Models
Will it suit and improve outlaw brushed
Trevor Jones / 29th September 2021

Yes it will, just keep an eye on the motor temps then if it gets too hot then add a 1/10 size heatsink and fan.

Anthony @ Wheelspin Models
Hi I have a HSP 1:10 with a KV:3300 Bushless motor. ( 03302 HSP PN) will this fit and will it make it faster.
Harmeet / 23rd September 2021

We don't sell HSP, so it's a bit hard to advise. This is a higher KV than your current system - but just bear in mind it is only a 45A ESC. It may be a touch quicker, but if you're after more speed I would look at a higher spec system eg say HW38010204

Ben @ Wheelspin Models
Could you cut off the deans connectors and put on different connectors
Lewis Paul / 20th March 2021

Sure, no reason why you cannot do that

Ben @ Wheelspin Models
Would this fit in a tamiya tt01
Lewis Paul / 20th March 2021

Yes it would fit a TT01

Ben @ Wheelspin Models
Would something like this be suitable for converting my hpi bullet st from nitro to electric?
Simon Brown / 18th January 2021

This is a bit underpowered for a bullet. Take a look at say HW38010203 or HW38010200

Ben @ Wheelspin Models
Would this be suitable for Traxxas slash 2wd?
Stan Brocklebank / 16th December 2020

It's a bit underpowered for the Slash

Ben @ Wheelspin Models
Please can you tell me how many turns the motor is. ?
Gregory Cale / 20th November 2020

9.0R = 4350kv

Ben @ Wheelspin Models
hi Looking at putting this in my neo scorcher, would it run OK with nimh battery ? Also I have 19t motor gear, would I need to change that ?
Ben Parr / 29th August 2020

It's a basic system but yes it would fit and run in that.

Pinion - I'd see how you get on but you will likely need to run a smaller one

Ben @ Wheelspin Models
Hi guys. Hope all well would this fit in Tamiya blitzer beetle please?
Stephen Wilson / 22nd July 2020

Yes as a blitzer beetle uses a 540 size motor

Anthony @ Wheelspin Models
Would this be a suitable upgrade for a brushed motor in an HSP XSTR buggy? The spec says it will run on 2 - 3 cell LIPO packs but some of your answers suggest 2 cell max, will a 3 cell battery damage the motor or ESC?
Harry Spillett / 2nd July 2020

We don't sell HSP so I can't advise 100% - but this is a basic combo, you would want to stick to 2S maximum.

Ben @ Wheelspin Models
Would this be ok as an upgrade for a stampede 4x4 brushed?
Dave / 13th April 2020

It's a bit underpowered to be honest for a truck of that size.

Ben @ Wheelspin Models
What battery connected is it please is it a tamiya connection
Alan Roadknight / 21st January 2020

These come with deans connected.

Anthony @ Wheelspin Models
Could i upgrade the FTX brushed Carnage with this?
Mark Williams / 9th June 2019

It'll fit - but is a bit underpowered for a truck of that weight.

A better choice would be say ET0425

Ben @ Wheelspin Models
Would this work in my Tamiya Neo scorcher running 3s? and how fast will it go.
Felix / 27th May 2019

It will fit in that car no problem, but we'd recommend a 2S maximum.

Ben @ Wheelspin Models
Would this work in my ftx outlaw running 3s?
Luke Bradley / 2nd May 2019

It'd be OK on 2S, but 3S would be too much.

Ben @ Wheelspin Models
Are all leads connected or will I need to purchase and/or solder anything?
Robert Blackett / 13th January 2019

No battery connection included.

The motor comes with connections fitted, the other half are included but not fitted so the customer can shorten motor wires and then solder on connections
