The eTronix Photon 2.1W 45 AMP Splashproof Brushless ESC (ET0125) is a compact, robust controller for 1/10th applications. Delivering 45A constant current with 260A bursts and a 2A 6V BEC, it supports 2–3S LiPo or 5–10S NiMH/NiCd packs. Pair it with the optional eTronix ET0107 set-up card (available separately) to fine-tune ten parameters to suit your driving style.

Hi, I’m looking for an esc for a surpass hobby C3530 1400kv brushless and sensor less motor (running a RC car). Will this esc do the job? What I’m unsure about is the esc specification says “4 pole” motor - the surpass motor spec sheet says it has 14 poles! I have a quicrun 16bl30 running a 1100kv variant of the C3530 motor (rated at 30 amps) but the amp rating on the 1400kv motor is stated as 35 amps and the quicrun 60 amp esc seems a bit oversized for what I need. I’m also using a 3s lipo battery. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks, Robert

I would look at something like this and use a higher amp just in case  ET0126

This is 2S max, and at only 45A is low rated - I wouldn't use this in a heavier truck like the carnage

ET0125 doesn’t come with any connectors. ET0125FTX is factory fitted with a deans connector for the battery and the same motor bullet/banana connectors as an FTX Carnage Brushless. (3/3.5mm? The exact size I cannot remember).

The ESC does not come with any connectors as all when purchased at this part number, only the combos come with plugs, 3.5mm ones.

what size are the bullet connectors on this ecs and with it work with the maverick strada brushless motor many thanks wayne rogers

3.5mm sockets on the motor wires and Deans on the battery.

It should work OK with the Maverick brushless motor, but we have not tried it specifically.
