Yes that will work - we have it listed in the combo for the PNP version of that plane.
That is a flight transmitter so will not work this one will work fine PLAT02101
The receiver is normally powered by the BEC from the ESC ( on an electric model )
Or a seperate RX battery pack plugged in to it ( for nitro/ petrol engines )
No reason why not , just be aware you will have movement in both directions on both sticks
They don't offer a gate, but I guess you could make one.

No , there's no charging facility with this set . Best would be rechargeable AA's , guess it was part of the idea to keep manufacturing cost as low as they could.
