The Hobao Extreme VTE2 V2 1:7 On Road EP Roller Chassis (HB-VTE2-V2) is an 80% pre-assembled, 4WD platform engineered for serious on-road builds. A 3mm hard-anodised aluminium chassis, centre spool with MOD 1 gearing, and robust big-bore shocks deliver a solid foundation for GT and speed-focused setups. Thoughtful touches such as a relocatable ESC top tray and a 3-position battery stopper make layout and weight distribution straightforward.

- Lightweight rear floating body mount set with suggested compatibility across GTLE, GTSE, VTE and VTE2 series; new front and rear splash guards and adjustable side body supports.
- 3mm hard-anodised aluminium chassis; 3-position adjustable battery stopper; new ESC top tray mountable front or rear; optional OP-0171 carbon fibre chassis.
- 4WD drivetrain with hardened steel front universal joint driveshaft and rear dogbone; new lightweight steel + aluminium front and rear centre driveshafts; optional 5.3mm universal driveshaft OP-0159 and 5.0mm rear dogbone HOP-0161.
- Bevel gear front and rear differentials with anti-leak housings and hardened steel lightweight cups; factory-filled with #500K (front) and #50K (rear) silicone oils; optional 40T ring gear OP-0146, 15T pinion OP-0147, bevel gear OP-0139, and differential housing OP-0148.
- Centre spool with 34T MOD 1 spur on an 8mm shaft and hardened steel cup; fits 8mm bore pinions; supports up to 48T spur; aluminium spool mount OP-0153.
- CNC aluminium cam-lock motor mount: standard OP-0149 for max Ø50mm motors; optional OP-0150 for max Ø57mm motors.
- Oil-filled 17mm big-bore shocks with #600 silicone oil and 4mm shafts; 4mm CNC aluminium shock towers (new rear tower); full ball bearing set included.
- Suspension with front PBS and front/rear sway bars; reinforced composite upper and lower arms; adjustable camber and caster.
- New rear wheel hub (+2mm) with anti-loose wheel nut; new rear suspension mount (+4mm).
