Description

HOBBYWING COMBO MAX10 ESC 3652SL 4000KV MOTOR

Built with high-quality components and coupled with cutting-edge firmware, the MAX10 is able to deliver unmatched power and performance for even the most extreme racing applications, but it is also responsive enough to protect itself from damage due to overloading due to physical abuse, overuse or even human error.

The MAX10 features an electronic switch with a lifespan of over 50000 on/off cycles, housed in a completely waterproof, dust-proof and shock-resistant design.

The waterproof and dust-proof design allows the MAX10 to be used in all weather conditions without any issue of damage caused to the ESC from water or dust.

The built-in switch mode BEC with a maximum output of 6A and voltage adjustable between 6V and 7.4V allows the use of various high voltage servos.

When pairing the MAX10 with a Hobbywing matching motor (i.e. EzRun 3652/3660 G2 motor), the temperature sensor cable on the ESC will monitor the motor temperature and protect the motor from irreversible damage due to overheating in real time.

Hobbywing EzRun MAX10 ESC Features:

Amazing combo!
I installed it on my ARRMA Senton as a replacement for the original brushed system and it took the car to another level.
I have still to reprogram the ESC and I'm still using the stock pinion and spur. I'm sure it is going to accelerate the wear of these parts, but until then it will be a lot of fun.
Bottom line is, if you're looking for a combo for the same or similar car, don't look any further, buy - install - bash!

Questions & Answers

Real questions from real customers. Why not ask your own?
hi is it possible to buy this combo with a traxxas plug fitted
Jonathan / 26th December 2022

No they come with xt60 only.

Steve @ Wheelspin Models
please can you physically check if this comes with an xt60 battery connector already fitted? Seems to elsewhere but your listing states no connector? Many thanks! Ewan :)
Ewan / 8th December 2022

Yes these come with xt60 connectors on them.

Steve @ Wheelspin Models
We have 10x TT02b 1/10th buggies at our school RCCar club and wish to change them over to a new motor speed controller set up. I was looking at the Hobbywing Max 10 combo, would this be suitable or would you recommend an alternative?
Jeremy Sandford / 12th July 2022

Yes that would work well.

Steve W @ Wheelspin Models
Would this be suitable in Tamiya Xv 01? If not what would be more suitable?
Matthew / 28th June 2022

This would work with that car but the KV rating is a little high for what we would recommend for a Tamiya car, try looking at the 3300kv version. HW38010203

Si @ Wheelspin Models
Will this combo be ok in a Tamiya Super Avante?
Mark / 25th June 2022

It woul;d fit but we would not recomend this one for a Tamiya kit, we would look at the lower KV 3300 version  # HW38010203

Si @ Wheelspin Models
Hello, would this combo be suitable savage xs flux?thanks
Colin Doyle / 23rd June 2022

Yes this would fit that car for you.

Sam Evans / 27th April 2022

It would fit yes but we would recommend the 3300KV version for an off road car  HW38010203

Si @ Wheelspin Models
Would this be suited well to a tamiya TT02 with metal ball bearings and hop up diffs.
Ian / 25th March 2022

This would go in that car yes, but we woulod not normally advise a motor and esc this powerfull for that car as it is a basic car.

Si @ Wheelspin Models
Hi Can I ask if the price is correct for this item please. Regards Kev
Kevin / 15th July 2021

Yes, pricing looks to be correct on these

Ben @ Wheelspin Models
Hi what connectors are on the ESC as I have Dean's on my batterys . Thanks
Iain Ratcliffe / 28th April 2021

There are no connectors on these so you can solder on a deans if required

Ben @ Wheelspin Models
What battery would you recommend
Mark / 14th April 2021

Any good 2S lipo would work well - eg say VZ0317

Ben @ Wheelspin Models
Can this take a 11. V battery
Shaun Tipson / 22nd March 2021

Yes, but it would need to be in a lightweight vehicle and geared appropriately.

For 3S, you'd be better with say HW38010203 or HW38010200

Ben @ Wheelspin Models
Would this fit in a tamyia tt-01
Lewis Paul / 17th March 2021

Yes that would fit - they are standard 540 size

Ben @ Wheelspin Models
Hi would this fit a arrma limitless if fitted with a 5 mm motor adapter as a starter thanks Nigel
Nigel / 28th February 2021

You'd want something bigger in the limitless - MAX8 or even MAX6

Ben @ Wheelspin Models
Have you a brushless motor combo that can run on NiMH batteries? Cheers Ian
Ian Thompson / 2nd February 2021

These would still run on NiMh - but you will get better performance on LiPo

Ben @ Wheelspin Models
Do I need to do any Soldiering on this?
Andy Joyce / 1st February 2021

Yes you'd need to solder together motor and ESC

Ben @ Wheelspin Models
Would this be suitable for a v2 granite?
Cliff / 2nd January 2021

I'd probably go for the HW38010200 or HW38010203 over this in the granite

Ben @ Wheelspin Models
Hi Ben, would this setup be suitable for Tamiya Zahhak buggy or would the 3300kv be better suited? It will be mainly run on 2s, thanks.
Dom / 3rd December 2020

Either would work, but I'd say the 3300kv may be better suited

Ben @ Wheelspin Models
Would this be suitable for upgrading a Typhon Mega 4x4 to brushless?
Jonathan / 9th November 2020

Yes, that would work well in there.

Ben @ Wheelspin Models
Would this fit a traxxas slash 2wd
Joshua Molloy / 7th November 2020

Yes that would fit

Ben @ Wheelspin Models
What’s a good 3s LiPo battery to use with this
Hayden Curtis / 16th October 2020

Depends more on your vehicle, but something like VZ0341 would fit most cars

Ben @ Wheelspin Models
Does the ESC come with a battery connector fitted?
Simon Whiteman / 12th September 2020

No, you can solder on your choice of connector

Ben @ Wheelspin Models
Would this fit on a 2WD ruckus ECX?
Hayden / 29th August 2020

Pretty sure from memory those took standard 540 size motors, so yes this should fit

Ben @ Wheelspin Models
Would this be an ideal combo to upgrade a maverick Strada mt, along with a 3s battery?
Thomas James / 22nd August 2020

Yes that would work nicely in there -

Ben @ Wheelspin Models
Will this combo work on my Kyosho Dodge Charger fazer mk 2.
Gregory Cale / 16th August 2020

Yes that would fit

Ben @ Wheelspin Models
I’d be fitting this to a Slash vxl, is there a Traxxas adapter that I can get or would it require soldering?
Alex / 15th May 2020

These come without connectors, so you could solder on a Traxxas connector if you wish

Ben @ Wheelspin Models
Wondering If this would be a good fit in a Abisma AB3.4 set up or would a lower KV be better
Martin / 6th April 2020

I'd go for a lower KV in that car

Ben @ Wheelspin Models
Would this fit/work with a traxxas rustler vxl 2wd?
Andrew Tivey / 23rd February 2020

Yes, that would work fine in that car

Ben @ Wheelspin Models
Would this work in a Traxxas trx4 sport as a crawler ?
James / 10th September 2019

It'll certainly fit in the TRX4 as it's standard size. It's not really a crawler system though - it's likely a bit fast. You really want a lower KV motor for lower RPM.

An ideal crawler system would be the HW AXE systems say the HW38020252 or HW38020253

Ben @ Wheelspin Models
Would this fit my slash 4x4 .thanks
Lee Keeley / 15th May 2019

Yes it will fit - but it's a bit high KV wise for a 4X4 SCT such as that.

Ben @ Wheelspin Models
Hi can you tell me what program card I can use with is combo.
Darren Waddup / 30th March 2019

This will work with them all, led, lcd and the wifi box for your phone. So HW30502000 HW86020020 and HW30503000

Ben @ Wheelspin Models
Will this be suitable for a FTX Bugsta 4wd replacement of the original brushed system?
Warren Davies / 6th January 2019

Yes, that would work OK in a Bugsta.
