The HobbyZone Mini Apprentice S RTF (HBZ3100UK) is a beginner-friendly electric trainer designed to make learning to fly straightforward and enjoyable, even in modest flying spaces such as a local park. It blends durable Z-Foam construction with a robust brushless 370-size power system and an 18A ESC, delivering stable, confidence-inspiring performance. SAFE Technology with Panic Recovery and three progressive flight modes help new pilots advance their skills at a comfortable pace, while the included Spektrum DXe transmitter keeps setup simple.

A large, easy-access battery bay streamlines fitting the included 3S 1300mAh LiPo, and 4-channel controls give you the full trainer experience. The Mini Apprentice S can be fitted with optional floats for take-offs and landings on small bodies of water, expanding where and how you fly.

Hi could you tell me if this kit is mode 2, ive owned a sport cub s and flown it many times would this be a good step up from the cub or would the larger apprentice be better. Cheers paul

Yes, this is mode 2 (left hand throttle).

It would be a good step up from the Sport Cub S, however for the extra it may be worth considering the full size Apprentice EFL3100E
