In addition to the setting angle and the freedom from distortion, the model's center of gravity must be right if it is to fly well. Imprecise adjustment of the center of gravity (e.g. with fingertips) leads to countless test flights or, in extreme cases, to an immediate crash. Information about the center of gravity can usually be found in the plan or in the instructions, but how exactly is it transferred to the model? This is not a problem with the easy-to-install center of gravity balance. It is designed for models from 300 g to 10 kg in weight. The measuring range is between 30 and 150 mm, i.e. with a rectangular wing (without sweep) the wing depth may be up to approx. 450 mm, which is sufficient for all common models.
