The HPI Pinion Gear 15 Tooth (1M / 5mm shaft), part HPI-100914, is a tough metal Mod 1 pinion designed to fine-tune drivetrain performance. Its 1M pitch and 5mm bore provide a straightforward fit where matching components are used.

Suggested compatibility: HPI Savage Flux HP.

Tuning Advice

Larger pinion or smaller spur = higher top speed.
Smaller pinion or larger spur = increased acceleration.

Available Pinion And Spur Options

Alongside this 15T gear, the range includes Mod 1 pinions for 5mm shafts from 12T to 25T: 12T–22T (100911–100921) and 23T–25T (102086–102088, 25T standard). Matching Heavy Duty spur gears are also available: 43T (102091) and 44T (102093, standard).

You would go smaller on the pinion to increase the acceleration
