The Tamiya Dark Impact (DF-03) brings proven off-road performance to 1/10 scale 4WD buggy racing. Its mid-rear mounted motor and longitudinally mounted battery are configured for balanced weight distribution, giving confident jumping and composed handling on rough tracks. Routine maintenance is made quicker thanks to a bottom-loading battery design, reducing downtime between runs. A durable shaft-driven 4WD system works with long-arm suspension to maximise grip and stability across hard-packed dirt and other off-road surfaces.

The actual model is great. Definately recommended. But be wary of this 'bundle'. You get only 4 batteries for the remote control when the version I was sent requires 8!

Yes they are listed under the spares for the dark impact.
These have a standard 540 size motor.
"Best" would depend a bit on budget, but say a decent brushless setup would be say HW38010203
If you go for one of our combo packs, they include most items you will need to get up and running.
These will be fine for smaller jumps.
For larger jumps, you probably want to look above the Tamiya range at a better brand such as Arrma or Traxxas
Something entry level would be say HW38010204 moving up to say P-CC010-0164-05 and HW38020285
There's no kit as such required - just a suitable brushless motor and ESC
