Our high-quality aluminum Big Bore shocks are packaged in convenient 8-packs just for Maxx Truck enthusiasts. The Big Bore shocks are hard-anodised and PTFE-coated for the smoothest operation possible and they feature internal diaphragms that help keep the air and oil separated for increased performance. These shocks also include our super smooth, long wearing titanium nitride (TiN) coated shock shafts. The shocks are completely assembled and include red, 2.5 rate shock springs, additional shock pistons and clip on pre-load spacers that make ride height adjustments a snap.

What size are the traxxas shorks in the 8 in pack£88..95
    Alan / 13th May 2021

We don't have a lenght listed on these sorry, however they are to suit the T-MAXX / E-MAXX trucks

    Ben @ Wheelspin Models
Hi , do these fit straight on a xmaxx 8s . Also what’s the difference between them and the ones that comes with the Xmaxx. ?
    Jason / 23rd February 2021

No these are too small for the X-MAXX

    Ben @ Wheelspin Models
Will these fit the traxxas big foot?
    Peter Adsett / 29th August 2020

No sorry, you'd want TRX5862 for that

    Ben @ Wheelspin Models
Hi I’m looking for some new shocks for my Traxxas Rustler 4x4 VXL. Could you show me what I need that are better then original ones. Many thanks
    Leighton Davies / 5th May 2020

TRX5862 are the ones to go for

    Ben @ Wheelspin Models
Will this make my traxxas E- Maxx sit higher?
    Komal / 16th September 2019

They'll make the suspension much smoother. Ride height itself though is determined by how many of the "horseshoe" spring pre-load clips you fit.

    Ben @ Wheelspin Models
I understand that the springs on TRX4962 are soft, do you have progressive springs for these? Will the ultra shock progressive springs fit even if I use the top and bottom mounts? Thanks
    Nairn / 29th September 2017

The TRX4957R progressive springs will still fit

    Ben @ Wheelspin Models
Hi, Will these fit the original t-maxx? Can you do a heavier spring? Got my truck second hand it's all aluminium and much heavier than stock but only got standard shocks that can't cope. Many thanks.
    Tony / 22nd July 2017
Yes, these will fit the original T-MAXX with 8 shocks. The only upgrade springs I know to now are TRX4957R
