hi how does the black hex nut screw to the shaft

It does not screw on it is "D" shaped in the center of the hex and the shaft has a flat on it so no need for pins.

Yes, hexes are included. They're driven from flats on the stub axles, so no pins needed.

Do you supply upgraded drive shafts for a 2wd ruckus and if so at what cost? I’ve been told Traxxas Rustler VXL shafts fit but I’m new to this so wouldn’t have a clue.
