Tamiya XF-89 Dark Green 2 (HC-81789) is a water-soluble acrylic paint from the Tamiya Acrylic Paint Mini range. This flat, matte tone is tuned to recreate the dark green used in typical three-colour camouflage on German WWII vehicles, with a slightly lighter hue to support weathering and scale realism.

Formulated for smooth coverage by brush or airbrush, it flows cleanly, blends easily and resists blushing or fading. Before it dries, brushes can be cleaned with water. The compact 10ml bottle is convenient for bench work. In the Tamiya system, X colours are glossy, while XF colours have a flat finish.

Tamiya Acrylic Paints are made from water-soluble acrylic resins and are excellent for either brush or spray-painting. These paints can be used on styrene resins, styrofoam, wood, plus all the common model plastics. The paint covers well, flows smoothly with no blushing or fading, and can be blended easily. It can be washed off of brushes easily using water before it dries.

The 'Mini' series offers a choice of glossy, matte and clear finishes, each in a conveniently sized 10ml bottle. X appointed colours have a glossy finish, while XF designated colours have a flat finish.
