XRay X10 26 Radio Control Chassis Kit XR370506

The XRay X10 26 radio control chassis kit from XRay, part number XR370506, is built around a one-piece chassis and a rear pod mounted above it. This layout is designed to provide consistent handling, resist tweak and reduce chassis drag when cornering. The narrow chassis shape also leaves room for adjustment of the pod angle through a rear set screw.

The rear spring is positioned for forward traction and a low centre of gravity, while rear droop can be adjusted through the tension of the bump spring. A composite adjuster supports the spring, and the universal rear spring nut holder accepts both conical and linear springs. The two-piece lower pod plate mounts to the bulkheads and provides further control over droop, pod angle and side spring support.

Low pivot positions are provided by the pivot holder and small-diameter pivot ball, with an extra forward centre pivot position adding to the adjustment range. The low-mass bulkheads form the foundation of the pod system, while the carbon fibre top plate carries the centre shock and side damper mountings. A matching carbon fibre rear side spring brace follows the pod geometry.

The centre dampener uses a one-hole piston and is arranged to maintain a low centre of gravity while providing bump handling with reduced maintenance. Composite bushings press into the carbon fibre parts to support hardware installation. Together, these chassis components provide adjustment over pod geometry, suspension spring position, droop and pivot location.
