Description
The Precision Aerobatics Thrust 25 Brushless Motor, part number AC-1889, is a brushless motor for radio-controlled aircraft. It uses RotorKool technology to help manage operating temperatures around the stator core, low-resistance windings, stator plates, bearings and neodymium magnets. The motor is designed to combine high torque, thrust and efficiency in a compact power system.
An integrated CNC-machined aluminium rotor fan and rear end bell form part of the cooling arrangement, while the anodised motor can features micro ridges to increase surface area for heat dissipation. High Velocity Force Cool Ventilation directs airflow through the motor. The rotor is computer balanced to reduce vibration, and the motor uses triple NMB Japanese bearings, a hardened stainless steel shaft and high-temperature neodymium magnets.
Features
The Thrust 25 has low-resistance windings for cool, efficient operation and a small gap between the stator and curved magnets to support torque and thrust. It is supplied with a lightweight CNC-machined aluminium propeller adaptor made in Germany. HD-insulated copper cables terminate in pre-soldered gold bullet connectors, providing a ready connection point for a suitable electronic speed controller. The motor's construction also includes precision-machined components and an integrated ventilation system.
