The XRay XR355212 Aluminium CVD Drive Axle set delivers a premium, lightweight drivetrain upgrade for the XB808 platform. CNC-machined from Swiss 7075 T6 hardcoated aluminium and finished to tight tolerances, these super-lightweight axles are designed for high-competition racing. Compared to standard wheel axles, they reduce rotating mass significantly—up to 3x lighter per axle and a total saving of up to 20g for the full set. Precision manufacturing on premium German CNC machines and in-house robotic hardcoating ensure a consistent, durable surface finish.

This is a set of four optional XRAY CVD drive axles, and are intended for use with the XRAY XB808 and XB808 09 Spec Buggies. These CNC-machined CVD drive axles are made from premium lightweight Swiss 7075 T6 hardcoated aluminum.
These strategically-machined, super-lightweight drive axles are specially designed and produced for high-competition racing. The reduced weight is almost 3x less than the stock wheel axle, with a total weight saving of up to 20g for all 4 wheel axles.
Precision machined with highest tolerances using premium fully-automatic German CNC-machines. High-quality hardcoating is done at XRAY’s own in-house fully-robotic hardcoating line, ensuring a perfect hardcoated surface every time.
NOTE: It is important to note that while these axles are very strong they do have a more limited lifespan than steel versions, and as such they should be inspected more frequently.
