I have been using this for years. It simply stays put, I use this on diff ring gears and any other pinions that need grease. Just dab a bit on in a few places and rotate with the pinion. You will see it sticking to each surface as the gear rotates. A tube lasts years as none is wasted, unlike black grease with just gets thrown off the gears after a while.
