    What color is the Traxxas silicone shock oil? Clear would be my guess.

    Yes shock oils are usually clear.

    is this the best shock oil for the e revo 1/16, and what do the different numbers mean?

    The higher the number of the oil the thicker the oil is. on the E revo 1/16th you would look at  35 - 40 weight for the standard one
